    To be fair, I think we got to this point in Christianity in part due to Greek philosophers' interpretations and arguments of Christianity. Greek influence is now virtually inseparable in mainstream Christianity as it is also in mainstream Islam.

    I don't even think the omnipotent, so on and so forth, perception of God that is now identified with popular Christianity after millenia of argument makes any sense Biblically speaking. It is far more idealistic, Greek philosophy than anything.
