Note how he's reading "safe" banned books that no one, probably not even most reactionaries, is trying to ban. The books that the right is going after are books that show kids that, for example, having gay parents is normal and no different from having hetero parents. Or that some kids in their class may identify as a different gender than what they were assigned. But nope, can't show Gavin reading those.
