the weird bullpup at number 12 looks really interesting. It doesn't really have a foregrip or stock, so I assume it's meant to be used one handed, tucked under your arm, maybe with some kind of fancy sci-fi aiming system to make it actually work

    I never understood why sci-fi weapons are always so bulky.

    It's the future, doesn't technology normally get smaller?

      Prop departments make guns by gluing random bits and bobs to existing guns, and the consequences of that became a part of the aesthetic.

      And it's kind of a shame. You get some incredibly cool guns when people branch out a bit from it. My favorite sci-fi gun design is this design from the now-cancelled Unreal Tournament 4.
