the weird bullpup at number 12 looks really interesting. It doesn't really have a foregrip or stock, so I assume it's meant to be used one handed, tucked under your arm, maybe with some kind of fancy sci-fi aiming system to make it actually work

19 is chonky and looks like an AK if it was a pistol that took AR mags

I never understood why sci-fi weapons are always so bulky.

It's the future, doesn't technology normally get smaller?

Prop departments make guns by gluing random bits and bobs to existing guns, and the consequences of that became a part of the aesthetic.

And it's kind of a shame. You get some incredibly cool guns when people branch out a bit from it. My favorite sci-fi gun design is this design from the now-cancelled Unreal Tournament 4.

I mean, if you're mostly cybernetic that big bulky boi is gonna be weildy. Flashbacks to the end of the season where the Major has a super high cal rifle she's blowing into some Mecha suit

12 is great, I think 18, 24, or 40 are my favorites; although the stock on 40 looks uncomfortably long.

    E) also 40 reminds me alot of Medved from Aliens: Fireteam although the stock has the wrong angle

You could rest your supporting hand on it, but with where the muzzle is, I'd be a bit worried about the muzzle flash being right above my hand. Maybe if it was integrally suppressed it could be somewhat less dangerous
