The only thing I really know about Chuck Wendig is that, when he was working for Marvel Comics Star Wars’ line, he posted a tweet where he wished Mitch McConnell would drop dead. The online right worked up a froth insisting that Wendig had posted a death threat against conservatives, and it started getting mainstream attention. Marvel fired Wendig. Then Wendig publicly accused his editors at Marvel of being fascist collaborators. It was all pretty funny.
