The amendment stops K-5 elementary teachers from “instruction” on sexuality and gender.

It passed their state senate 26-5. It has to go back to the house for final approval, which basically feels inevitable.

      Not by the state , but its free game for teachers and school staff to harass transgender kids without the law coming. These are people who are authority figures going to give the transgender kid trauma

      The point is to make it so teachers live in fear of being sued by parents, and so trans kids can be harassed even more freely. Actual legal settlements are rare, it's the implication.
