Can’t find a replacement part for my bottle anywhere except this Canadian site, and its price including shipping is more than what the bottle costs brand new.

I’m thinking of just buying the bottle on Amazon and keeping the part I need and saying that the package was opened :disgost: several times when I’ve asked for refunds because something was wrong, they just let me keep the whole thing without asking for proof lol. So maybe I’ll be Gucci

I guess I can't guarantee they won't flag you but my (general, possibly dated) understanding is that Amazon tolerates this stuff for a ridiculous percentage of returns. Or, similarly, tons of claims that the item never arrived. That might also work - and suggest porch pirates if they show photos of it at your door/building.

I think it's worth a shot. Worst case you're out the cost of the bottle.

As long as it's not enough of a habit that your name is flagged, you'll be fine.

Amazon has an algorithm that accepts your returns based on projecting if you will make them a profit in the long term.

order the bottle, take the new part, and replace it with some recycled painted fake parts and send er back.
