Myth of consensual oil trade

🇮🇳: I consent

🇷🇺: I consent

🇺🇸: I DON'T!

Even the liberal (kinda progressive?) Congress party is friendly towards Russia, U.S will not be able to break that relation through regime change but yea.

Modi is not going anywhere. If modi somehow gets democracied, a worse hindu nationalist will come to power. The country is fucked to the core now thanks to the bjp.

Idk who could be even worse than Modi. Ig they could install someone who wants total genocide of non-Hindus but Modi isn't against pogroms either.

Yogi Adityanath, currently chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, a state larger than Germany. He's being groomed to be Modi's successor and he is way more mask off than Modi.

He will likely be the "successor" to Modi, yes, but I don't think there is that much ideological differences between them, just that one is more vocal in his rhetoric. If Modi weren't Prime Minister, his language wouldn't be that different from Yogi's.

Watching westoids sheeting and malding in the past few weeks over India just doing their own thing have been greatly entertaining.

Funny because right up to the age of colonialism, aliens visiting earth would probably spend their time with the most "civilized" places - India, China, Tenochtitlan, etc. Western Europe was an irrelevant, "underdeveloped" backwater. There's some story about some of the initial contact between W. Europe and India, I think around the middle of the 15th century. The Europeans brought like shitty linens and they thought they could trade them for like gems and stuff, and the Indians just laughed at them.

It's a fascinating contrast. Everyone hated Trump but at the end of the day absolutely none of the US' vassal states in Europe ever stood up to him or his admin. Now with this war, at least we have some countries in the global south telling Biden to pound sand. I love it.

And for decades the west have jeered at India's self sufficiency as "backward" and "holding them back", but now we're seeing its fruit: the west have little to no leverage over India, and they can't go with the usual route because India is a nuclear power.

The US finally gets its 'just war' only to fuck up rallying allies so badly. 😂

Brilliant. Just at the time when international cooperation is essential to try and mitigate the worst of the damage climate change will bring and we've got the usual dickheads instigating cold war mk 2 and pissing in every nuclear armed country's cereal. Fucking fantastic.

Libs all went after Trump for "damaging international relations" but now the Biden admin is doing a tour of countries that make up like 1/3rd of the population of the world and telling them that they're shit because they didn't participate in some conflict a thousand miles away from them.

Just imagine every US diplomatic statement as a 50s gangster.

"It aint India's interest to buy Russian oil, be a shame if...something happened to India."
