I happened to open Instagram and immediately saw there was some drama going on. It appears to be agreed that PlantsFanon had a bad take about Lenin and stood by it when challenged by Sungmanitou. The decolonized Buffalo people allege they went around democratic centralism, brought up nuclear and threatened to wreck. Sungmanitou says they stood by the bad take, repeatedly misgendered them and acted like feds. Who’s in the right here? What would be a good outcome? @Nakoichi@hexbear.net

I lurked at their and Rick's Twitter when it all happened. At least looking from outside, I think it mostly boiled down to personal differences between ChunkaLuta and PlantsFanon and ChunkaLuta's belief that the org Rick and PlantsFanon belong to has repeatedly shown favoritism towards PlantsFanon. It doesn't seem to be due to ideological differences, and as far as I'm aware, the organizing work ChunkaLuta is doing had almost nothing to do with the org Rick and PlantsFanon belong to.

Of course, I'm just a bystander, and I don't know the history those two had with each other.

Basically this but there were also accusations from Rick and Plants camp that Sungmanitu used donated funds to hack their instagrams, which is obviously not true. Frankly there was a lot of probes from their side of things

EDIT: the nuclear thing gets into genocide denial also as the Pine Ridge reservations water has been contaminated by runoff from uranium mines

Not even just the runoff but Dickie Wilson leaving a trail of 200 unsolved murders in 3 years to get the uranium rights sold off
