I dunno what causes that tbh I wondered myself. Its not just almonds either I've noticed it with pistachios and peanuts as well. Not sure if over roasted or something happened during growing.
the worst one is sunflower seeds the bitter sour taste will stick in your mouth for a long ass time

im sorry im sure you have some insights into this topic that are valuable but i cant get past this your guts are either full of splinters or u have an intestinal lining made of steel
i find walnuts to be the absolute worst in that regard, but it's very possible i just buy walnuts that are kinda crap
i harvest my own walnuts and never have this problem i feel like store ones might just suck dont know
i think thats because almonds and cherries are related i might have made that up but it feels right
were all related if u think about it. Maybe I taste like bad almonds
this me with carrots. i can't eat carrots for that fear of that 1 in 1000 garbage one
