Was thinking yesterday that a competent US govt would set up a website, login, and personal splash page for every inhabitant letting them check their voter registration status, who their elected representatives are, what their Social Security balance is, their tax return status, what resources are available to them if they are in need, etc, etc.

James May of BBC's Top Gear did a Cars of the People miniseries that covers lots of cool mass produced cars, Trabant included. As a BBC series, it is rife with anticommunism, but the content about the trabi was still very interesting.
