i legit let a guy i know stay at me n bfs place for an indefinite time for free so long as he helped us keep the place clean. dude just cleaned the common area every weekend and when he got back on his feet he thanked us and left ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ legit no skin off our backs we tallied the bills and it maybe cost us 50 bucks each month from elevated electric and water bills and we figured the room cost was around 200-300 as a going rate. but we didnt care just helping a dude out that got a shit roll of the dice for a couple of months and we were gonna have the room anyways because that was the only available rental at the time
