I used to work at a company that loved smelling its own farts about how "diverse" it was. Zero PoC managers, one PoC exec (married to white male top exec), almost no indigenous workers and zero in management. Their definition of diversity was just "look, we let white women in".
No mention of PoC, so I guess the faustian bargain turned out to be "okay, we can hire some women and LGBT, but they have to be white."
I think the court case is only about sexism, but in these people’s brains all non cis white dudes are in cahoots.
