Solar and agriculture are mutually beneficial: Panels installed over fields are cooled by the plants evaporating and thus more efficient (one percent annually) while the ground is shaded and does not dry out in the sun. In rainy years the yield drops by around 20 percent while in sunny and hot years, crop increases from three to twelve percent. Combined, agriculture and solar yield around 160 percent of single used land.
