- i sure do love my corn-based treats.
i was talking to my brother about this the other day and we both agreed that there’s a sense of being transgressive/dangerous (in a good way) that a lot of these new bands have. maybe it’s the nostalgic feelings that music can inspire, but that feeling is definitely there at shows too.
yeah i’m there with the 2004 vibes too lol. foreign hands and dying wish are probably my two favorite bands that have come out over the past few years.
agreed that this track does feel like a heavier spiritbox. like i said, not my usual metalcore, but i can get into it. will definitely check out ithaca’s older material too. ty for the recommendation.
a little on the “nu-core” side compared to what i usually listen to, but i can vibe. reminds me a bit of volumes.
down nearly $1b in the past 24 hours

chuds getting alpha-gal’d and no longer being able to eat 16 hot dogs for dinner every night is just too perfect.
Mackayla or spike
definitely a blingus, because i’m a dingus who can’t see for shit
if you’re under 60 years old, and think the beatles are cool, i don't think we’re gonna be friends.
the author would point to a handful of republican senators voting for brown-jackson and claim vindication.
this rocks. i’m thinking of looking for night work at a hotel once the place i’m currently at closes up shop. was it a high-end sorta place or like a no-tell motel? i’m open to either sort of situation (assuming someone will hire me for it) because i’ll either get lots of sleep or lots of good stories.
king shit
currently working at a print shop. the owner is completely checked out and is either going to sell or close the business in the next month or so. says he’s tired of working so hard (dude barely comes in more than 20 hours per week) and spends cash like the place is balling (we don’t even have rent for next month at the moment).
aaaanyways, last monday we all clocked in at 8:30am, hung out and drank all day, ordered lunch on the company credit card, and chitchatted with the local vagrants. clocked out at 5:30pm so we all got one hour of OT because we didn’t clock out for lunch.
pretty sure i’ve had less productive days at other jobs, but this the most recent one and it felt really good.
i mean of course. just wondering if somehow religious libs could get onboard with the some sort of loan forgiveness from that angle. i know, i know. that’s electoral bullshit. :deeper-sadness:
fr. was out a a certain desert music festival this weekend and these outfits woulda owned.
seriously it’s time to initiate some concept of jubilee years when all debts are forgiven
Bayside is a brand that has a union -made option. Royal Apparel does too. there have got to be more options out there. those are just the ones i know from being in screenprinting
this is absolutely the case. back in 2016 the screen printing shop i worked at was in on the grift. sold thousands of maga/lock her up/whatever shirts. we used ebay and gave the option of exercising your :freeze-peach: on a haitian-made gildan shirt or a domestically sourced union-made tee (for like $3 more). guess which one these goblins chose 99% of the time…
we assuaged our consciouses by donating some of the profits to planned parenthood. :shrug-outta-hecks:
