There's an online theory about PhilosophyTube sexually assaulting Contrapoints and then copying her personality and aesthetic afterwards going around for a while among r/drama types. I don't believe it has much evidence beyond circumstantial, inferences, vibes and their attitudes towards each other.

They used to be friendly in the past and they had a falling out. Contra was asked directly about PhilosophyTube's transition on a stream a while back and she said (paraphrasing) 'That person is no longer in my life'.

I did some googling and sacrificed a bit of my sanity reading kiwifarmsesque shit on r/drama mirrors. I didn't find any compelling evidence but maybe I missed something, I couldn't take much of the transphobia and general hateful atmosphere.

The crime of the internet is that at any moment you can be exposed to the opinions of a fourteen-year-old or the fantasy of a forty-year-old who ought to be writing for a tabloid named something like The Real Truth Inquisitor Weekly.

then copying her personality and aesthetic afterwards

Literally every Breadtuber copied Contrapoints' personality and aesthetic at some point.
