UK only believes in freedom of the press when it comes to your right to slander trans women. if you expose the crimes of the imperialist regime in D.C. instead, they torture you with years of solitary confinement, then ship you off to the US even though it's obvious you'll never get a fair trial there and will be locked up for life, all for the heinous crime of doing journalism that still deserves to be called something else than government propaganda.

What the Anglosphere is trying to do with Assange is to criminalize the unauthorized possession or even viewing of classified documents. This will be a pretty strong move toward reinforcing the totalitarian American regime

tbh Assange could be the worst PoS and his extradiction should still have been opposed. If he commited some other personal henious crime that was proven then he should have been imprisoned for that in the country that he commited it but that hasnt happened

It can be difficult to separate Assange as a person from his work, and harder still (if not impossible) from where we stand to figure out where the propaganda ends and the truth begins regarding his own personal failings as a human being.

All I know is that as a matter of both legal technicality and of objective truth the United states empire is not pursuing him because he may in fact be a POS rapist. Julian Assange the person effectively doesn't matter here as much as what the idea that he and Wikileaks represent.
