I watched Carlton Cuse's show before he made LOST, Nash Bridges, and for a cop procedural on CBS it was good, still better than anything they put out now. It was mostly focused on the characters and a lot of the criminals were rich people ripping folks off. It also has Stone Cold Steve Austin as a recurring character in the later seasons, with Cheech Marin and Don Johnson in the lead roles.

I watched lost as it came out, it had some great moments and good ideas. It also soured me on JJ Abrams by the end of the series. Mystery Box tv/movie writing is insulting to viewers and became a trend that was copied often.

LOL I just checked out what Cuse is up to now and he's the creator of the Amazon Jack Ryan propaganda show.
