      A related question, why would they try? I’m just not sure what they gain by de jure controlling the territory. I imagine they have significant de facto power as-is, considering all the suffering in Yemen

          Saudi Arabia isn’t defending themselves from NATO encroachment and fascists either, so their casus belli is even weaker. They just are imperialists bullying a small peaceful nation and normal citizens who resist them.
