    The way reddit keeps talking about Tencent having "close ties to the CCP" lmao

    Yeah they do, in that the CCP is holding them on a tight fucking leash and will not hesitate to put them in their place if they step out of line. They make decisions that make number go down for massive mega corporations without blinking, this is unthinkable for western governments.

    In the west, corporations having good relations with the government means CEOs going golfing with politicians and receiving huge tax breaks for generous donations.

    In China, corporations having good relations with the government means doing what they tell you and in return they won't end your fkn existence.

    But somehow China is the corrupt one, can I get an xD in the chat gamers?
