I know absolutely nothing about harem anime, I did a little bit of research and it seems like a drama anime with different love triangles?

imagine the standard love triangle. you have one character that needs to choose between two others. now add a number between one and ten to the number of characters that the main one needs to choose between. that's a harem anime.

most aren't very good. the standard harem show features the blandest high school boy imaginable as the object of desire for between four and ten women, and the most obvious and painful comedy beats possible.

some do something interesting with it, like include characters more interesting than watching paint dry. others are just an exercise in wish fulfillment for lonely men. guess which one makes more money, and thus is more popular.
