    did you watch red vs blue? if you did, and you watched until season 8 you'd run into this moment. rooster teeth hired monty oum to animate action scenes for red vs blue, moving the series away from pure machinima. after a few years working on red vs blue, oum decided he wanted to make his own show, one that was heavily influenced by anime. this was the trailer he released.

    that was 2012, the show started in 2013, and it's released a volume every year since, except 2021, when they delayed the season til this year.

      Hot Take: Oum's action scenes were a baaaaad fit for Red vs Blue. It's like you're watching a funny talky comedy and then suddenly it's an overproduced video game cutscene.

      For that matter dramatic story arcs were also a baaaaad fit for Red vs Blue.
