The thing I'm worried about is that the "Western Left" (such as it is) is not going to grow fast enough, or become robust enough in it's interdependences, in order to be able to mobilize people to defend themselves & their communities once the formal State is either completely absorbed by them* , or when it simply collapses & is rendered completely incapable of prosecuting stochastic, or even organized inter-community violence.
*I know that some people feel like it already is, but I would argue that the fact that this guy even got arrested for doing this is evidence that it isn't really yet.
Low-key wish more immigrants come. In my experience they're way less domesticated and ok with capitalism than the pain piggy born in USA types.

Ehhhhh, no. Plenty of immigrants have socially conservative beliefs, only the racism of the existing conservative party is what keeps them on the liberal side. Material conditions without the tools to understand their root cause will result in silliness, and that silliness exists in every country and culture.
