WHATS A GOOD BUILD???

i rolled the clan and shit pretty blind, no idea what i was doing. gunplay is frustrating and offensive magic that doesn't buff melee is too weak. so far im just blasting thru with a fireax and tryna sneak when i can but both feeding and stealth kills are like 50/50 if they'll actually connect

WHY ARE THE ELEVATORS WORSE THAN MASS EFFECT?

i spent literally 20 minutes going thru every button in that apartment complex downtown :angery:

HOW DO I KEEP MISSING SUPER OBVIOUS QUEST OBJECTIVES?

walk by a dude im supposed to talk to three frickin times i stg

WHYS IT SO FOOKIN DARK?

i installed an enb. it was a mistake and i have to use nightvision and torch way more than i should

Didn't the old editions have some extremely moronic commie-nazi lore about the Brujah?

Like Heinrich Himmler was a Brujah in East Germany or something.

There is nothing about any particular clan that makes it predisposed to one side or the other. The Prince of Berlin was a Ventrue. But then so was the Prince of London. You'll find Brujah in the French Underground, the Soviet Union, the Auschwitz death camps, the Italian Brownshirts, the and Ukrainian anarchist insurgents, in roughly equal number. The World Wars are written as much a civil war among the Supernaturals as they were among mortal Europeans.

Past that Vampires are supposed to be inherently corrupt and self-obsessed. Implying that Brujah might be playing German Fascists and Soviet Revolutionaries off one another to maximize the opportunity to feed, loot, and debase themselves is... right in line with the lore.

Focusing on whether some edgy splat-book writing amateur got all the thematic notes right in a book whose sales barely justified it being printed is missing the forest for the trees. Go back to the core material and you're not going to find "Virtuous Vampires" anywhere. The real mistake in the writing tends to be replacing any IRL people with Supernaturals, when the premise of the game is always that these creatures stand above and behind the public movers and shakers.

Himmler should never have been written as a Vampire of any clan, period. But Himmler's mistress? One of his staff officers? A little-known sponsor of his family's pre-war fortune? That's where the monsters are supposed to hide.

Weren't the Brujah the offical clan of the Soviet Union? Did they do a "Hitler and Stalin were friends" but with vampires or did they make the Nazi's rouge Brujah?
