I've read that gothic lolita fashion actually got popularized by a male! An artist called "Mana Sama". I always liked the look and to know a big part of the subculture was affected by a gnc male makes it more appealing. I think if work and especially money weren't in the way, society also of course, I'd love to wear stuff like this when the weather allows, but I'd need to be able to afford a face electrolysis. ^ ^'

    probably not much would change, which I guess you'd call grunge chic (thrift store homeless characteristics, not goth).
