I've read that gothic lolita fashion actually got popularized by a male! An artist called "Mana Sama". I always liked the look and to know a big part of the subculture was affected by a gnc male makes it more appealing. I think if work and especially money weren't in the way, society also of course, I'd love to wear stuff like this when the weather allows, but I'd need to be able to afford a face electrolysis. ^ ^'

And more "everyday" looks

I grew up as the only Black cybergoth in every city I've ever lived in; I'd go back in a heartbeat.
To cybergoth, not to any city I've ever lived in.
totally. like a goddam super mario bro. my hips can't hold up shit and i'm sick of pretending like they're supposed to.
Mostly more of the goth kinkster stuff i'm wearing now and some light plate mail around the shoulders.
like a fukin slutty Hussar look at that minidress and thigh high riding boots on the right, lmao. i also love double-breasted shirts like on the left, but they should always be worn with the top button undone
Showcould leave the beards and strange hats out tho
Some sort of dark or light academia that has a lot of comfortable light cotton. Maybe a very light jacket that's almost a heavy shirt.
Furthermore, I would grow my hair a bit longer and no longer get haircuts based on economic constraints.
I would wear the same plain black t-shirt + jeans I wear now because it requires 0 effort and is good for 80% of weather.
Actually I would also get a pair of this guy's pants
ShowHonestly mostly the way I do now. Great thing about working in a lab is as long as you wear long pants and close toed shoes you can dress how you want.
ShowThis is already basically my everyday outfit except swap the shoes for docs, and if I had money all I’d do is get nicer versions of some of those pieces. And get more tattoos.
Either like an elegant lady or a sapphic cyber punk (already working on the latter)
Thomas Sankara chic
Moé moé quantum-superposition-of-irony weeb shit
Among a million other things
At the same time
What I wear when I work from home: Very comfy sweat pants and anime shirts.
probably not much would change, which I guess you'd call grunge chic (thrift store homeless characteristics, not goth).
