    You know, I have a crazy thought, but hear me out.

    Maybe, just MAYBE, if you make a ruling stripping away ordinary people's rights and it is so incredibly unpopular you know it will result in mass unrest and violence, you shouldn't have made the ruling?

          Isn't there a quote from some Nazi official about how liberals will still be respecting the process and setting up committee meetings while there are literal putschists marching through the halls?
