Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict
Add to the above list if you can, thank you.
Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.
Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.
Yesterday's discussion post.
There has to be some curated plex magnets out there for new music. I'm slowly accepting that i'll have to go back to pirating everything and I'll be setting up some media servers. I know there are a few movie curated magnet lists out there that will auto dl new movies and shit. I can't imagine this doesn't exist for music.
Note that a lot of these services are not free but come with a one time fee. I think I priced my future setup to be about $80, and then plex plus, just for simplicity, at $7/month. A lot cheaper than spotify/netflix/prime/hbo/whatever else.
Alright dug it up. Lidarr is a service that you can subscribe to lists and you will get automatic downloads from them. I can't yet find good lists yet but the posibility is there https://lidarr.audio/
And here's the media server/plex plan I plan to mostly follow. A bit out of date.... https://brandonb.ca/ultimate-media-server-setup
