"I Am Sorry" - ask yourself for forgiveness (whether you are asking forgiveness for a specific act, or asking forgiveness for irrational self-loathing)
"It's Okay" - forgive the self (for whatever it [rationally or irrationally] needs forgiven)
"Thank You" - thank the self for being forgiving! very important, we are virtually always our own harshest, most brutal critic
"I Love You" - self-care to end the mantra. Love for the outside world requires love for the self
it's not a magic bullet, but it helps more than it seems like it should. the brain is a tricky piece of wetware, and its good to recognize that means it can be hacked a bit to our benefit
