Been a pretty big fan of Beck over the years, and really dig this track with the contrasting parts of dissonance and harmony. Really have no clue what the lyrics are supposed to mean, like most Beck lyrics. It does seem to maybe allude to extraordinary rendition if you squint at it.
Beck was doing some really cool shit in his music before. His last few albums have been pretty tame though I wish he would go back to that sound, the Guero/Odelay stuff or even his early folk punky shit

I think he got into the whole pop thing, and it sanded off all the more interesting characteristics that he used to be known for, hopefully he goes through another experimental reinvention again
