Nah a lot of us became leftists. Easy to forget that a big talking point for Ron Paul was ending all the wars. He wanted to dismantle the US empire. Of course he wanted to do this for financial reasons and is now a gold grifter with a talk radio show but at the time, no one had been allowed to publicly question American military dominance in a long time
