Like you can't be friends with someone of the opposite sex without people assuming you're fucking, eventually going to fuck, or secretly have feelings for each other. I'd talk to a woman in a purely platonic way and rumors would spread that we had "a thing" or I was going to "get with that." This was said by both men and women.
