It is a 2005-2006 Anime Adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's 'The Snow Queen'. From what I have read, it is kind of a Cult Classic, and it is unique in that, in it's storyline, it has story arcs adapted from other HCA fairy tales. From what viewers have said, it was a phenomenally made work.

I have wanted to watch it some day, but I have searched Crunchyroll, Amazon, AnimePlanet, and several other places meant for streaming Anime, and I can't find it. Similarly, I have found very little mentions of this from places other than Tumblr. Not even on Reddit.

Do any of you know where I could view this?

Update: I found it from the 9Anime link one of you provided. Thanks for your help.

For stuff like this I recommend checking anidb.net because it's one of the few sites that lists if groups have subtitled anime. It says NakamaSub completed translating it in 2017 also Live-Evil in 2012.

    https://anidb.net/anime/2828

    Show

Anyway, checking BakaBT, that private tracker site has it.

And Nyaa has it here: https://nyaa.si/view/507826

qBittorrent is what I use. Nyaa accepts any torrent software I believe. Some of the private ones support only certain programs or certain tried-and-tested versions.

Yeah..... Especially since I am using University WiFi that can REALLY detect when a student uses that.

Layer 7 network monitor devices can detect and pinpoint a lot more than you think.

I installed some new wireless access points(WAP) at an office of about 300 once with layer 7 monitor abilities and when making sure everything still works noticed someone watching a YouTube video on repeat. I could see they watched it 3 times already. The video link was rendered in the UI as the title of the video, Two girls one cup. I could tell it was a WAP close to one of the bathrooms. I was also given all the details of the device used to access it like it's OS, manufacturer, MAC address and other identifiable info. All of which could be used to identify and fire an employee if an employer wanted. Also this was like 5 or 6 years ago.

So when ever I do something that maybe I don't want others to see that I did, I use a vpn.

There are a lot of options, both free and paid. It might also depend on factors like your device and use case. You probably want to do some research on one of the Lemmy privacy communities but I would recommend mullvad

Consolation prize there’s a great anime version of the Ramayana on YT and it was apparently done as some kind of diplomatic collaboration between India and Japan and Brian Cranston voices the main character? Very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing

    Is this it?

Edit: Link is a YouTube playlist with Eng subs. I've had decent success finding older anime on YT by searching the Japanese name. In this case 雪の女王 NHK

Yes. That's it. But it's the first 6 Episodes out of 36. Can't seem to find the other ones.

I don't know if you still need help finding a way to watch it, but the anime streaming website that I personally use seems to have all 36 episodes. The website is aniwave, which is just the "9anime,to" website on the sidebar, but after it got a name change, and apparently the name/link hasn't been updated here.

I don't know, I heard that AniWave has risks of Viruses, and I heard those streaming sites aren't exactly legal. Again, I am on University WiFi.

Well, it's not so much lost as it as unavailable in America. It never got any official release. A damn shame, because this was the last thing made by the late Osamu Dezuki
