I bet they were a right wing white supremacist

if you actually cared to read my responses I wasn't saying that I was certain the shooter was a white supremacist, I said it was stupid to dismiss the idea that someone's white supremacist just because they have a hispanic last name. I even said elsewhere in the thread I don't know what the shooter's motives are. Neither do you.

My assertion is this:

1: whiteness is socially constructed. Many hispanic people consider themselves white

2: you posting a picture of the shooter posing with a trans flag doesn't mean anything . trans people can be white supremacist and right wing too. I am not saying this particular shooter is right wing, just that dismissing the idea because of their last name is stupid, given the history of Latin America being a history of European colonialism. Identity and politics can and often do contradict each other.

3: your smug sarcasm is a lot closer to trolling than anything I've said to you and I'm not going to be putting any more effort into my response to you since you're operating on the reactionary level of thinking a picture of someone being trans is enough to prove anything about their politics.
