You know how Alex Jones is the archetype that the feds want people to think of as a conspiracy theorist? And his Sandy hook skepticism (false flag/crisis actors) get everyone so riled up?

Can’t wait for the political establishment to pull out that comparison when people ask what happened to 18 minutes of police scanner.

That shit is breaking in European countries right now. "No Ukrainians" signs are going up in shop windows in countries with high refugee rates due to thefts, prostitution is rampant too and people are absolutely not enjoying the presence of Ukrainians.

They aren't going to be able to keep info suppressed easily when the impression being given to people in host countries of their refugees is bad enough for them to respond this way.

Parrotting Ukrainian government propaganda is entirely unconnected to the refugee situation and will continue even if the refugees were to be put in prison camps

Is theft and prostitution and LICE and THE PLAGUE really "rampant"? Right wingers and small business owners will just say this shit.

Being a refugee is truly the most miserable position you could possibly be in, perhaps excepting only stateless people.

That sort of sucks. I'm glad people are starting to question the Ukraine narrative, but I really wish it didn't take the form of anti-immigrant bigotry.

There are two wolves inside of you. One of them hates russians for not submitting hard enough to america, the other hates ukrainians for being refugees. You have a bizarre complex about your great grandfather fighting the soviets.

Oh of course it's likely a minority of them but it doesn't change the fact that the impression being given and the damage is being done. Opinion is shifting and some shops feel confident they can put signs up rejecting Ukrainians despite this kind of sign being very much illegal in EU countries.

They're also not too fond of the fact Ukrainians keep painting their walls and windows with blue/yellow.

The point isn't that it's "good" or whatever, it's obviously not. The point is that the Eurozone's own chauvinist idiocy could well end up dissolving public support for Ukraine in the war.

Yeah, what a shock, these people will froth at the mouth about Ukraine on Twitter all day long, but as soon as it inconveniences them in the slightest, it's mask off.
