Like herpes, sea lioning hasn't went anywhere. I've tried providing evidence, examples, but no matter what, when sea lioning happens, those links have "an agenda" or "bias" or "a narrative" whatever the fuck that means. This is the tactic that Sarte warned about: cryptofascists don't actually care about the integrity or consistency of their arguments, only sophistry to make yours seem untenable.
the only way you can do respond is by deconstructing the opponent's terms and framing of debate. you can never convince them of evidence sicne their minds were already made up without evidence to begin with. they arent even willing to porivde their own evidence of what they believe. it's like how anyone can lie as much as possible while trying to refute them takes so much more considerable effort, it just becomes maddening and a waste of time.
