I thought billionaires worked so hard that they had no time for things like video games? :soviet-hmm:

And I will not tell you, but quote this:

In the other hand, Musk carries the Brass Shield, a fairly unremarkable shield that requires at least 16 points in strength,

and the Carian Knight’s Shield, which requires 10 points in strength and 15 in intelligence.

I’m assuming that Musk thinks he needs two shields, one for physical attacks and one for magic, but the Carian Knight’s Shield is slightly better at blocking magic than the Brass Shield and is just as good as blocking physical attacks. He should just use that one.

Mage characters also typically don’t need shields because they torpedo spells from a safe distance, and if Musk unequips a shield and a sword, he would be able to perform nimble rolls and not need to block as much.

But Musk’s stats are… interesting. His health bar is fairly low for a level 111 character, and his intelligence and mind are both pushed past the point of diminishing returns

If you put all your points into intelligence, use an intelligence-scaling weapon.

So in other words Musk doesn't read what tools are there, fails to compare them and comprehend them, put absurd amounts of hours into the game (during a time he claimed he was only working) and fails to create synergy. What he does is more like fuck up stuff so that it counter acts each other and gets worse as result.

It is fine if you just wanna have fun playing a game, but this is Musk and he tries to embellish the genius at everything claim while posting online about the game and his build.

The article ends nicely with a triple punch:

Variation might be lucrative when it comes to making Teslas crash into police cars, having Falcon 9 rockets zoom rich people into space, and enticing former president and current Twitter exile Donald Trump back to the social media platform you just bought. But in Elden Ring, a lack of focus makes a giant sit on you, killing you instantly.

    Bonus

In his May 24 update, Musk reiterated that his “equipped load will be lower if fast roll is needed.” I have been sitting here for nearly a month trying to think of a time when someone would need to change armor mid-battle for the express purpose of rolling, but I can’t. Much like how The Boring Company’s Las Vegas Convention Center Loop tunnel is just asphyxiation underground with more steps (or a highway tunnel with more steps, a worse subway with more steps, etc.), Musk’s approach to armor and shields is unnecessarily complex.

    and finally:

A billionaire’s grind and goal-obsessed mind is helpful for tricking yourself into believing that rich people deserve their wealth because they want everyone to sleep under their desks like human snails,

but in Elden Ring, social mobility is actually possible. Your character comes from nothing—no health, no family, no maiden, nothing—and single-handedly demolishes an empire.

It’s incredible, and if Musk’s shitty mage build is any indication, a billionaire couldn’t survive it.
