I mean his peak was being a YouTube celeb/stirring shit on college campuses. Working for a lunatic politician (popular with his audience) with a national stage because all publicity is good publicity in my mind means he’s only a step or two removed from being back at that peak. This was a guy crying about the massive debt he accumulated trying to be a hatemonger when no one would give him the time of day
Fair enough. I guess you could also read the story as “shamed youtube personality forced to take unpaid position in 30s” rather than as a comeback. I guess only time will tell wether this works out for him
