Personally, I was a left liberal for all my life, but had kinda looked into the abyss of anti-sjw and gamergate stuff, like watching Sargon and Bearing, but hadn't really subscribed to their beliefs, more putting them on as background chatter.

Things changed when I read manufacturing consent, listened to Chomsky and found Chapo at around the end of 2018, at which point I found myself as more an ancom, but Chomsky's talking points on Leninism and the USSR was never as cogent and didn't make as much sense as his other points, so I held skepticism about my beliefs then.

Reading more on theory and history, and looking more into different left tendencies via channels like Rev Left moved me over to be a Marxist, as it made the most sense to me in explaining the current and historical situation. Currently making my way through Lenin and looking more into historical ML states and I've found that I'm pretty comfortable as just a Marxist with ML tendencies rn.

Before I was 13, I was a nationalistic Catholic. Because I was a kid, it mostly consisted of being homophobic, sexist and listening to nationalist music like half the people I knew.

When I first learnt about politics I decided I'm gonna be a leftist because it sounded like the most moral choice. I googled some leftist and marxist concepts but quickly gave up because they were too big-brained for me at the time. I maintained some leftist and christian principles until I started using anglo internet. I was introduced to memes and the sort of gamer youtube where I watched pewdiepie and shoeonhead. I became a strong anti-feminist (calling myself "egalitarianist" because I thought all feminists were actually "removed") and a transphobe who thought trans and nb people were valid as long as they're not one of the "weird" genders. I quickly grew bored of that and found out about monarchism. My brand of monarchism was probably the weirdest. I wanted to restore the Austro-Hungarian empire under the Habsburgs with federalist, green and social liberal principles. That aesthetic also became boring to me but I still supported constitutional monarchies for a while.

After that, I became normal pro-EU social liberal. The specifics of that often changed. For some time I supported my country's social democrats and some smaller liberal parties until a populist "third option" entered the political scene. They were a coalition of young people with unorthodox economic ideas and weird conspiracy theorists. They also briefly became the second biggest party and supported things like MMT, weed legalization, lower taxes, higher spending on social stuff, protectionism, combating corruption and euroscepticism. I still somehow supported european fedaralism and constitutional monarchism.

I was around 15 when I found out about leftism again. I was looking at some communism memes and remembered the time I googled marxism so I did that again. I found r/socialism and related subs. My ideology at the time was some kind of incoherent democratic socialism (and I still somehow supported monarchism) which after a while turned into a more coherent but still clueless ML-ism. That period was short and even shorter was the ancom phase which lasted for like 2 weeks. I became an egoist after that because haha memes. When I was an egoist I actually started reading about shit and thinking about my philosophy so I held those views for a few months during which I became disillusioned with egoism and found out about platformist social anarchism through youtube. It sounded better than egoism but I was still kinda iffy about anarchism as a whole. Some 6 months after I became an ML I became a Communalist when I actually read theory. I was highly sympathetic towards marxism for the next few months, but my ideology has stabilized since then.
