It was interesting seeing the drop in support for Trump from 2016 to my discharge in 2019. The guys who sucked his dick kept sucking his dick, but the guys who went along with him just because they hated Clinton so much became less and less enthusiastic, until they just stopped supporting him at all.
Anecdotal but in my old platoon, out of the 30 of us, only one guy still liked Trump, and he was a former cop that no one liked. He was an absolute fucking coward, shit at his job in garrison and worse than useless during field problems. Cops are shit, who would've guessed.
