Yeah, I’ll stick with “stylized bangs”. That just makes sense to me, but ymmv
Actually they are called mandibles and are important in allowing the gripping of prey for consumption
It'll get word filtered - sl*t strands. I thought it was a terrible word but I literally didn't have one better 🙃 besides hair dangly but I thought that applied to the little wisps of baby hair you get too
I always just thought of them as 'quetzal feathers' because I'm a bit of a bird nerd.
