          Are those symbols over the images the AI's interpretation of stock photo watermarks?

            That’s my understanding, but I’m not ruling out that the AI is making a meta commentary about how the existence of stock photos and watermarks are themselves part of a lovecraftian nightmare.

              Anyone can also go to https://getpaidstock.com/ and copy a stock image URL in to get a watermark-free version of any image. Some hosts work better than others. https://tineye.com can reverse image search also, accomplishing two things. One, sometimes the image was used in an article and it’ll be in a better resolution without a watermark. Two, might have image hosted on another stock site that gets better results @ getpaidstock.
