    Tankie is already used widely online to the point libs are saying it now, which is probably the only audience for this piece: Libs mad at things they saw on twitter. That's all the article is about too.

    i've also been wondering why terms like Stalinist or Leninist aren't thrown around as much anymore. Probably because they're too specific and are tied to very coherent political stances. Tankie already means anything, it doesn't matter where the term comes from. Tankie is when you say something I don't like.
