I had a friend who bought $25k in LUNA coin at $10 and reached millionaire status practically overnight when it climbed to $100. He was extremely bullish on the economy back then. But now he's not a millionaire, so his opinion doesn't matter.

It will be better for millionaires. A recession means it's easier for millionaires to buy up and dismantle struggling businesses. High mortgage rates means its easier for millionaires to buy up every house with cash compared to first time buyers trying to get a mortgage.
Wouldn't millennial millionaires be even griftier than older millionaires, given how they've amassed their wealth in even a shorter period of time?
