The librarian at the library I work at is one of these people. She's fucking poison, a straight up bully. Shit got so fucking toxic in our department the head of HR who argued passionately with the hiring committee to get her the job (they fly candidates in from across the country) ended up resigning because everyone hated her. She also pretends to be Latina even though both her parents are white and have a popular German last name. And for some odd reason she visits a certain country in South America every Christmas.
