Bluegrass cover of a song from 1991 written by Richard Thompson.

Del McCoury got famous in the early 1960s playing for Bill Monroe and His Bluegrass Boys. Monroe is considered the father of bluegrass music. Monroe made Del his lead singer, and got him to play guitar instead of banjo.

Del McCoury features kinda heavy in my personal rotation, along with Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs and some other traditional bluegrass artists. Ive been listening to bluegrass for a long time, and bounce back and forth a lot between very traditional bluegrass (a lot of it just instrumental) and more modern stuff like Mountain Sprout, Inframous String Dusters, etc.
