    It's wild that it's intentional. Like I've found myself "optimizing" myself to a more joyless life, but only because I didn't a realize that the longer route to school was more enjoyable, or that being alone with my thoughts while doing laundry felt better than using that time to do work. Like I always expect people who optimize their time into misery aren't accounting that some wasted time can be psychologically beneficial, I hadn't considered people are literally slicing off time that's normally booked for hobbies or entertainment.
