You can tell it's a bit because someone this deep in Harry Potter astrology would never say anything positive about Lenin.
where did they praise Lenin?
oh nvm. LMFAO. definitely a bit to even say something like that
I just assumed someone in Harry Potter was named Lenin, my brain just didn't accept they could have meant the actual Lenin lol
"Actually, Lenin was a Slytherin" is a thing I could 100% see someone on /r/neoliberal saying sincerely.
I thought this was standard weapons grade cringe until they hit me with the Leninist right hook holy shit. God-tier bit.
(which I naturally won with logic due to being a Ravenclaw lol)
I give this marriage 5 years, max.
You're thinking like a Ravenclaw but you need to apply the Gryffindor mindset. You're forgetting her husband's a Hufflepuff; he'll never leave her.
it's impressive that the harry potter stuff isn't even the biggest red flag in the post
Every paragraph has more whiplash than the previous. Masterful shitpost, the Lenin bit is genius
This is someone doing a bit based on the original post that I think was also a troll post.
good pasta though
i'm not one of the "read another book" contingent
but fucking hell READ ANOTHER BOOK
i’m not one of the “read another book” contingent
why not though
eh, brow beating over media consumption just never really was a priority for me
Yes, but clearly Harry Potter is an Avengers level threat
fucking ban me that was horrible
/r/MundaneSituationsWithClickbaitTitles just doesn't flow as well.
Ok cool story now face the wall, your inclusion of Lenin into your transphobic fandom was a step too far :fidel-si:
I think last time this was posted someone mentioned it was a typo or something lol
You’re not anything they don’t exist!! :stop-posting-amogus:
if you ever for some reason feel the need to pirate/watch one illegally online, choose 3.
Alfonso Cuaron is basically the only good thing in that series, as he's actually an incredible filmmaker, even when making a 'children's movie'.
that is saying, you can just watch other Cuaron movies, but 3 isn't so bad.
I just don’t understand the obsession those people have with Harry Potter.
I think it's just comfortable nostalgia from childhood. In my experience it's basically the same phenomenon as superhero manchildren but more for women.
the third film is objectively the most mediocre and the third book is objectively the most overlooked but actually really good
the books are all trash and the third movie is only decent because of Cuaron.
the books were kinda fun because you could imagine everything happening from your own eyes
the movies were forgettable
I went to a wedding about eight years ago that did this. The bride was a shameless HP nerd and did the whole wedding up in various house colors. My wife was the bridesmaid who got House Slytherin. We all generally had fun with it.
But other than the pastiche, it was just another wedding. Lots of dancing, lots of food, a fair amount of booze. No bruised egos over wearing a particular house color, possibly because we were all in our late 20s and not literal children.
