Dore and Hinkle on the newly elected leftist President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro:- funded by George Soros- ushering in "woke ideology"- Petro's right wing rival, Rodolfo Hernández, was a populist, and "real lefty"- Petro is "faux-lefty", propped up by identity politics. pic.twitter.com/1wF1xjdPqd— Venerable Jorge 🇺🇦 (@Nitzky89) June 21, 2022
seriously watch the clip i feel like im losing my mind
Everyone has to immediately fall in line behind this random asshole they've never heard of, to pressure AOC to make a completely meaningless symbolic gesture, and if you don't if you don't give a shit about it then you're not a real leftist.
Oops now the random asshole is shilling horse pills.
Honestly it was a good bit, I admire reality's satire of online leftist infighting.
"Force the Vote" happened at a time when everyone was discouraged from Bernie losing and looking for a new direction (and many were looking them to distance themselves from him and the squad), and everyone was also bored af from being stuck inside due to COVID. That was a time period full of struggle sessions, because we all desperately wanted there to be drama because there wasn't anything interesting or important going on in our lives, so it was either engage with stupid internet bullshit, or go back to staring at a wall. I think half the people stanning him, at least on here where I saw it, hadn't even heard of him before Force the Vote and were just happy to have something to do.

Why does this guy (Dore) have any clout at all? I only know him through being dunked on here.
