    I've had RAM die before with similar-ish effects. If you've got any compatible memory around, see if changing it does anything... Try shuffling through the slots too

        If it's a kit, good chance only one is faulty and you can just pull one for the time being. Gotta deal with half the capacity tho, but it should at least be usable? :shrug-outta-hecks: If it's not a kit I've got nothing

                Other than going single stick (if that's even an option with your setup) - maybe you can salvage some ram from friends or family or even some e-waste/recycling dumpster? I don't know your situation but there's bound to be some ddr3 around somewhere in unused or defunct machines. It's far from ideal of course but it could keep the rig running until you upgrade
